In Zeebrugge, the reel will be used to spool and store an approximate of 1000m export cable from the Cable Laying Vessel "Willem de Vlamingh". This cable will function as a spare for the Northwind windfarm, which is located 40km off the coast of Belgium. Due to the unusual cable specifications, the drum was engineered with an exceptionally large inner hub of 8.0m, with a loading capacity of 120metric tonnes.
