LARSoffshore provides different types of carousels, both reel-type and basket-type. The sizes range from 8 meter outside diameter through to 28 meter with capacities up to 7,000 metric tonnes. The carousels and turntables up to a diameter of 18 meter are liftable with product via a spreader beam configuration.
Our design includes integration of the rollers into the grillage, thereby reducing the structural height and centre of gravity of the assembly. The systems come with hydraulic power pack and control cabin. Each system comes with certified rigging and suitable cables and hoses.
The carousel roof can be used to store pullheads or termination assemblies. Partitions within the carousels can be installed upon request. The turntables and carousels can be supplemented with auxiliary equipment, such as loading/spooling towers, tensioners, chutes and trackways.
